Once a year, we bring together entrepreneurs, startups, PTP alumni, research and educational institutions, established companies, mentors, and people who help businesses take their next step.
PTP Day is not a traditional conference. It is a gathering of a community that builds, grows, connects knowledge with the market, and turns ambition into concrete results.
Big ambitions are where it starts. Concrete steps make the difference.
Every entrepreneurial journey starts with ambition. The ambition to build something better. To create a company. To enter a new market. To grow a team. To turn a product into a successful business.
But ambition alone is not enough.
It takes people, decisions, discipline, knowledge, the right partners, and many concrete steps along the way.
At this year’s PTP Day, we will explore the journey between the two:

PROGRAMME
STARTUP SHOWCASE + APERITIF
PTP Day starts with people, not the stage.
The first hour is dedicated to meeting people, exchanging ideas and discovering companies that are currently taking their next steps in growth and development.
The Startup Showcase will feature selected startups and companies from the PTP community, as well as the wider Slovenian and cross-border startup ecosystem. It will also highlight examples of successful collaboration between research institutions, educational organisations and businesses.
No long pitches. No formal matchmaking.
Products. Entrepreneurs. Conversations. New connections.
OPENING THE EVENING
The central programme of PTP Day will be opened by Tanja Kožuh, Director of Primorski tehnološki park, and Samo Turel, Mayor of the Municipality of Nova Gorica.
The opening will focus on one key question:
How do we create an environment where entrepreneurs and companies dare to set bigger goals?

How do you pursue big goals when the path is not ideal?
Drawing on her experience as a top-level athlete, Petra Majdič will explore ambition, discipline, perseverance, pressure, setbacks and the ability to keep moving forward when things do not go according to plan.
This is not simply a story about never giving up.
It is about the questions that shape every ambitious journey:
How high are we willing to set our goals?
How long should we persevere?
How do we perform under pressure?
How do we recover after setbacks?
And what does it take to turn ambition into concrete results?
FIRESIDE TALK: HERO LABS
FROM INITIAL AMBITION TO STARTUP OF THE YEAR
Joining us will be Janez Turk and Urban Rotnik, co-founders of Hero Labs, recipients of the Startup of the Year award.
Janez Turk was previously a participant in PTP’s GoStartup Academy, and their entrepreneurial journey later continued through SAŠA Incubator.
In this conversation, we will not focus only on the success at the end of the journey, but on everything that happens along the way.
How does the founders’ initial ambition turn into a real business?
How do you translate that ambition into a team?
How do you build a company culture where people set ambitious goals, take ownership, and maintain the energy needed for growth?
